The ATLAS Center supports an annual Student of the Year Program to recognize student achievement.
This year the winning student from TTI received a stipend and support to travel to the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC) and the 96th Annual Transportation Board (TRB) meetings held in Washington, DC from January 8-12, 2016.
ATLAS Center Outstanding Student of the Year – $1,000 Award
Marcus Brewer Brewer is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University, where he previously completed a Master of Science in Civil Engineering; his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is from the University of Kansas. Marcus is also an Associate Research Engineer at Texas A&M Transportation Institute, where he has over 17 years of research experience in TTI’s Roadway Design Program. An award-winning writer, he has authored or co-authored more than 100 research reports and peer-reviewed papers, and he has been lead or contributing author of a variety of state, national, and international policy and guidance documents.
